❤️ Efficient heating system and and "Evaporative Cooling System" - An Evaporative Cooler lowers the air temperature by passing outdoor air over water soaked pads and then pulling the cooled evaporated air into the home. Evaporative cooling systems can be used effectively in the dry desert air of Mesa County. Operating instructions are included in the home but does require a window or two to be cracked open to allow for circulation. This cooling effect will achieve similar home temperatures as other forms of cooling, however the air may feel more humid and be louder (due to the fan) than refrigerated air units.

Deposit Policy
Please note you are responsible for any missing or damaged items beyond normal wear and tear. Charges can also be incurred for smoking, pets, and cable or internet charges. Deposits are refunded within 10 days of checkout.

The place was near perfect for my husband, my dog, and myself. We spent 3 nights there. There's a really good park close to the house which was good for walking our dog. The backyard was really nice and clean and safe for the dog. The house was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated. Lots of space for hanging up our clothes. The garage was easy to get into and out of. We were very happy here and would 100% stay here again. Only challenges: no doggie door so we had to decide whether to have our dog be inside or outside when we went out for the day. The hose situation for hosing off bikes and dog was a little hard: had to go to side of house and the hose didn't attach on easily to the nozzle. Other challenges could be easily fixed: the main bedroom is needing flatter pillows; they are all very large and full. I feel like I'm nit picking because this was really a winner place to stay! Thank you so much!

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet weekend at the Cherry Pie house in Fruita. The house is well stocked and well equipped for bikers and dogs. Added bonus to have access to laundry machines and soap!

We loved our stay at Cherry Pie Holiday III. The setup was great; it was comfortable with lots of space and everything was in excellent shape. Plus, the location was in walking distance to all things downtown Fruita. Big bonus: there were actually sharp knives for cooking—in our experience, that never happens at rentals. We enjoyed the backyard and deck as we battled it out for the title of corn hole champion. And we really appreciated the well-equipped cleaning and storage area for our bikes. The hosts were in touch with us regularly asking if we needed anything (we didn't). We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The Cherry Pie Holiday House was appointed with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable by our standards, which is a huge plus. As always the staff of Visit Fruita was attentive and available. I've stayed in their properties before and will again.
