Baxter pass has is the perfect getaway with hundreds of miles of single and double track trails. This area allows hikers, bikers, horseback, motos and 4 wheelers. At the base of the pass (4 Road) there is a large parking area that services lots of trails for each of these activities.
Heading west from there you get to 2 Road which has outstanding views of the valley floor, lots of camping and you may see a few para-gliders!
Heading north you will see the dramatic cliffs in the canyon.
