We have never stayed in a rental home.  What should we expect?

All of our homes are ready to move in and simply start living.  Open the door, set your baggage in the bedroom, and start living.  It’s your house, relax, adventure, work, stay, live.

Do I get the entire home to myself?

Absolutely!  When you rent a home from VisitFruita.com you are renting the entire home for yourself and family.

We see a different description of our home, ie Black Bear II, Black Bear IV, etc… What’s the difference?

This allows us to offer each home at a different price, ie … 2 bedroom, 4 bedroom, etc…  You only rent and pay for what you need!

What amenities are available?

Items that make a house a home are furnished.  In other words, we have tried to accomodate most if not all cooking and general living requests, including the “Kitchen Sink” haha.  In all seriousness, if a home sleeps 8, you will find bedding, sheets, towels, dishes, etc for 8.  Disposable supplies are stocked to “get you started”.  There is probably enough toilet tissue, soap, etc to get you through approximately 4 days.  Beyond that, we have grocery stores that stock everything you could need.  All of our homes have washers, dryers, irons, and ironing boards.

 

How do you handle Check-In?

Safe, Easy, and Secure!  Check-In’s are entirely automatic with our Hospitality App.  Inside the App is directions, codes, and everything else you wish to know about your home including a Television Channel Guide.  No need to visit a “Check-In” office, just head to your home!

We see your homes on other travel sites like VRBO, AirBnB, or Expedia.  What is the difference in booking direct?

Nothing other than price.  We market all of our homes on our website, and all the travel sites.  Same home, same amenities, same 5 Star service.  The best value for our guests is always to book direct through our website.

Can I Bring my pet?

Most our our homes are pet friendly.  We have included a “Pet Friendly” filter in our Lodging Search so you can be sure.

Can we book for an extended visit?

Absolutely!  This can be a great option for a business traveler.  You have a VERY comfortable home away from home.  No utilities to worry about, no maintenance, just unpack, and you’re home.  Generally stays greater than 30 days are not subject to Sales and Lodging Tax.  Most of the places we serve this amount is over 10%.  That’s a significant savings.

Can we have a late check-out?

We recommend booking an additional night if you think you may need a late checkout.  This allows you to check out on the day of your departure when you are ready.

Is the WiFi Reliable?

Yes!  This is something we take seriously.  After all, it’s how you found us.  If you’re planning on working or binge watching your favorite series, the data connection is rock solid.
