This was a great place for our family! Loved the game room, hot tub and beautiful decor. The entire home was very clean and we loved the comfortable beds. It helped our trip to be close to downtown, this home was super convenient to everything Fruita has to offer. We hope to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay! Grandparents, parents and kiddos all enjoyed the space. I was able to take a nice stroll to and from town. Bonus- fun festival downtown during our stay!

Great place to stay close to all the amenities of Fruita and a good hub for biking, hiking, etc. Quiet neighborhood and the house had all of the items we needed.

Thank you so much for hosting us. The 6 of us were in town for the Desert Gravel race and the house and location were perfect.
The house enough space to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The hot tub was a hit both before and after the ride.
The garage was a perfect place to keep our bikes and to hang out. After the race, we all sat around in the garage with the door open. Great way to relax.
Even with 6 bikes in there we still had space to use the pool and foosball tables.

Great basecamp for Fruita recreation and super close to the town center. Recommended.

We loved this place so much last year that we stayed again this year. The location was great and it had everything we needed. Our teenagers loved the game room.

We had a very good stay as a group of 8. We cooked in the kitchen most days. One thing to know is that it does not have a traditional oven. Also, for larger groups, know you have to coordinate the use of the bathrooms as one is in the master. Overall, great place to stay in Fruita.

Our group really loved the home. It was super clean, updated and the hot tub was lovely! The hosts were super responsive to our questions and check in/out was easy. Not to mention that Fruita is in close proximity to amazing outdoor offerings. I would love to stay here again!

This was an amazing spot for myself and some gfs to have as a base camp while mountain biking in the area! Close to a lot of eatting options or the kitchen is stocked well! The house was the perfect spot to rest and the hot tub was icing in the cake!

Kristy and Mike’s place was wonderful! The folks we dealt with, perhaps at Visit Fruita, were tremendously responsive. They reached out to us well in advance of our check-in, responded IMMEDIATELY to any questions or concerns we raised, worked with us regarding a flexible check-out and were friendly and clear in all their communications. We loved the place! Clean, everything worked (and if it didn’t, they immediately got it fixed) and it was very comfortable! We will DEFINITELY be staying there again!

We had a great stay at Kristy & Mike's. Perfect for our friend group Mountain Bike Trip. The hot tub was lovely and easy to use, and the outdoor dining/patio was really nice to have. The garage was fun for pool and listening to music. Overall a really great stay and we'd love to come back!

My group absolutely loved the home we stayed in this past weekend. It was very clean, comfortable, and provided us with a great space to spend time in the Fruita and Grand Junction area. Would highly recommend staying at their properties for your stay!

We loved our time at the Serene Retreat. It was perfect for our spring break biking trip. The house was just as described and the game room was perfect for the cold and rainy day when we couldn’t get out on our bikes. We loved our time in Fruita and look forward to comeing back and staying here again.

Great place. Perfect home base for our Western Slope adventures. We spent our week hiking, skiing and fishing. We hiked in Colorado National Monument and nearby eastern Utah spots including Little Wild Horse Canyon. We fished the Eagle, Roaring Fork and Lower Colorado. And we skied Powderhorn, which is a great little resort with amazing views. The house was perfect for relaxing after a day’s adventures. Great hot tub and back porch for relaxing. Well stocked kitchen and grill for making big dinners. There’s a cool game room hanging out. And finally the beds are super comfy to get rest for the next day. The house was not huge, but big enough for our two families. Fruita is a cool little town. There was a great coffee shop called Best Slope down the street. And downtown was walkable with a good brewery, Reckless, and several good restaurants including Fiesta Guadalajara. We would return for sure.

Just be aware there is no oven (not critical unless you are doing a turkey!), and the hot water tank is only good for about 3 showers before the tank kicks....likely the cold water temp from the winter supply was outside the norm for Delta temps....

Kristy and Mike’s is a home away from home! We loved every moment we were there. They have put a lot of thought and effort into making sure you have everything you will need for a wonderful stay. The game room is in excellent condition and the hot tub and grilling area are perfect! The kitchen has everything we needed to make family meals and the living room was cozy enough for family movie nights. We absolutely loved the surrounding area too and look forward to visiting again in the future!

We had an absolute blast! We loved the house and all of the amenities. It was perfect and made our trip the best ever! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay. The house was everything described with updated everything. Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 4 children. The hot tub was very pleasant on the cold nights. All in all, our Thanksgiving stay in Fruita was successful thanks to the accommodations of Serene Retreat.

Our family is only able to get together once a year and this was our first time staying at an air bnb instead of a hotel. This house was exactly what we were looking for! We were able to make the most incredible memories and share more time together! Our kids were safe and loved the back yard. We felt so comfortable and at home! The house is very clean and well kept. Beautiful location! Great neighborhood for a night walk or just relaxing on the patio.

This house and location were great. Short walk to bars on a not too busy street. Close to highway and park. Hot tub and game room were great and it felt very comfortable for a family. We had a great time hanging outside. One tip, as this is in a very dry place and watering is very scheduled, just make sure if you have your morning coffee outside, that it is after the sprinklers finish haha. Aside from that place is great !

Great hosts!! They were very friendly. I read other reviews and saw that the beds were comfy… i am picky with my beds I sleep in but WOW were they comfy. Very clean, very spacious, and free of clutter. The location was perfect!
My friends and I went to Country Jam 2023 and it was only ever a 15-20min drive each time. You could walk to places nearby and drive I lay a couple min to get there.

I’d recommend this place to anyone! We hope to stay here again sometime.

Spices in the pantry, detergent for the laundry machine, and a surprise bbq grill! Much better appointed than many other location in the area where I have previously stayed. We make regular trips out to the area and are going to keep our eyes open for this spot to plan around future vacations.

House was a great location to downtown Fruita. Very comfortable with a nice large TV and well equipped kitchen. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Great house and host. Walkable to shops, food, and drinks. Quiet and peaceful. Easy drives to trailheads. Would stay again!

The five stars we gave go toward the “New Homestead” rental and the staff with Kristy/Mikes company.

We originally booked “Saddle Ridge Retreat”. Unfortunately the house was not what we expect. We were told the fireplace was usable (it isn’t) and the photos look a ton better then the place itself. I would tell the owners to update the furniture (it was all worn looking) and replace small appliances/utensils (they all look very used). We could not get the heat to work and the temps were down around 28°.

We reached out to Kristy/Mikes company and mentioned the heat issue. Their rep (Aly) I believe did not blow us off or treat us like we were the issue. She went to work finding us a place to go. Enter “New Homestead”

This property was great! Beautiful rehab with nice features, comfortable furniture and excellent location.

Kristy/Mikes company truly showed the spirit of customer service and ultimately saved our Christmas getaway!
