Each year we try to update some of the home’s furnishings, decor or flooring. 2018 was no exception – if you have stayed with us before you may noticed some changes.
- Replaced the carpet at the Velo and Juniper House
- Added TV and cable to each bedroom in the Velo, Juniper and Peach Houses
- Replaced the sofa sleeper at the Juniper House
- Added a 2nd floor Air Conditioning system at the Sagebrush house
Thank for staying with and we hope that you stay with us again soon.
We took the dogs on a walk using the new trail from Fruita to Kokopelli trailhead. It is super convenient and has some good views of the Colorado River. Plus, there are plenty of benches and places of interest signs along the way.
To get there – by parking in the downtown area, you can follow the side walk to the path under the highway at the Fruita Ace hardware. Olenty of benches and places of interest signs!
Hiking the Pollock Bench Trail:
The initial 1.5 miles of the Pollock Bench Trail is a steeper and some parts are a little steppy but very scenic.
After the initial 1.5 mile climb we took the Pollock Bench Loop which is a casual hike in the Juniper Trees. The trail is wide and comfortable with a few shady spots along the way.
