❤️ Efficient heating system and and "Evaporative Cooling System" - An Evaporative Cooler lowers the air temperature by passing outdoor air over water soaked pads and then pulling the cooled evaporated air into the home. Evaporative cooling systems can be used effectively in the dry desert air of Mesa County. Operating instructions are included in the home but does require a window or two to be cracked open to allow for circulation. This cooling effect will achieve similar home temperatures as other forms of cooling, however the air may feel more humid and be louder (due to the fan) than refrigerated air units.

It is such a cute place! Furnished very upscale. We stayed during wintery weather so we weren’t able to enjoy the fantastic backyard, but we would definitely use this house again.
This was a great quiet house with everything you need, terrific location for our family visiting. And the welcome basket with the grocery bags really helped make it easy and environmentally aware for "no plastic bags". very nice touch. 🙂
What a wonderful place to stay in Grand Junction. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in February 2023. The Butterfly House is bright, airy, and so functional. We appreciated its central location in town; loved the quiet neighborhood; and would have enjoyed the back yard and patio, if not for visiting in February. Strongly recommend the Butterfly House.
We loved our stay at the Butterfly House. It was welcoming and charming. We felt very much at home. We were so close to Main Street and all of the restaurants and shops. The weather was supposed to be nice and I was really looking forward to the fire pit in the backyard and it didn’t disappoint. We look forward to staying again on our next visit!

The Butterfly House is a great place to stay while visiting Grand Junction. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Beds, towels and linens were 5 star. Inside and outdoors, we felt at home. Great place for a family. Everything about it was easy. The sun porch in the morning was a bonus. We will be staying here next time we come to GJ.
