Kristy and Mike’s home was lovely! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Got this for a slight discount as we booked last minute. Was good for 2 adults, baby, and 2 dogs. Plenty of room in the yard for our pups to play. Was well equipped with everything you may need.

Beautiful property, great accommodations. My dog enjoyed the green grass and the walking trail behind the property. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful and peaceful spot about a 5 minute drive to all of the best spots in town. You will not find a better cared for yard with grass in Fruita.

We’ve stayed at a few of their properties at this point and always happy when they have availability if staying in Fruita.

My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House for a long Fall weekend with our dog, sharing the space with a friend couple from SLC who drove out with theirs. The property, and the service, could not have been more perfect. We had relaxing mornings and evenings on the patio, with views to the Colorado Monument, the dogs had room to roam, and we were just a short drive to downtown Fruita for the night we chose to eat in town. Highly recommended!

Great spot. Well located between all sorts of things to do in the area. If you sit outside for a cup of coffee or have a meal outdoors your view is the Colorado National Monument. We spent four days and are looking to go back soon as we only got to see and do a fraction of what is available.

We were there during a bit of a heat wave (100°-108° most days) and the place was cool and comfortable between the AC and treated glass.

The groundskeeping is immaculate, I'm pretty sure our dogs are still disappointed in our grass at home after enjoying the yard there. Every facet of the property is incredibly well cared for, clean and tidy. It is situated on the larger property of the homeowners but you're a minimum of 100 yards from the main house with a pond and trees between and situated in a way where the main home is not in view so it is quite private yet still super easy to access.

Super cute little place. Great yard for the dog to run around and explore, and a pond for him to swim in. A nice walking trail nearby, super easy access to downtown Fruita and restaurants and shops and bars. Quick access to get to I70 for the 30 minute jaunt over to Palisade for wineries (and more) - what a great location and setting. It has a wonderful back patio that's great early in the mornings or late at night - during the summer months it's too hot to sit out and the back patio is not really shaded, but it cools off quick and is a great spot for relaxing. The grill was a great amenity to have as we grilled out on the 4th of July and had a wonderful time.

The interior is cute, well maintained and everything works well and everything was clean and easy to use. Just a great spot! We enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Kristy and Mike's in Fruita! The property was outstanding - the inside was very spacious and functional, while outside we thoroughly enjoyed the patio and large yard. We also enjoyed hopping on the trail adjacent to the property for an easy walk or bike ride into town. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely as described. The house was cozy and private in beautiful surroundings. Easy to get in and out of and the host were very proactive to make sure our arrival and stay exceeded our expectations and it did! Fruita is a very quaint town and everyone is friendly.

The Carriage House property was perfect for a short mountain biking and remote work get-away!! The outdoor open space and the views are both relaxing and well maintained -- look forward to coming back in the future!!

This is a wonderful escape from city life - big open spaces and great outdoor / grill area. Comfortable bed, big shower, nice sized bathrooms, big kitchen/dining room. We had such a peaceful time here and our dog appreciated the huge yard. One thing to note - the washer is very loud so just do your wash while you're out enjoying Fruita!

We had a wonderful time in Fruita and really enjoyed the place. The location was perfect for us. It was very quiet and peaceful and had plenty of room for myself, husband and dog. We really liked the ability to store our bikes out of the elements in the garage and not bring them inside the condo. The 5 acres was definitely used to exercise our dog. It was nice to sit outside in the mornings with my coffee and let him run around chasing balls to burn off energy. I also loved the idea of having dog bowls for us to use. They even provided a blanket for him to use while he was there. He loves snuggling is his blanket at night. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Don’t hesitate to book this lovely living space. We think we want to just move in and live there. So bright, clean and comfortable. Loved sitting on the patio in the evening to read and enjoy the view of the Colorado National Monument. One of the best.

We absolutely loved our stay. The proximity to the national monument and grand mesa was perfect. Views on the property to the monument were breathtaking. Clean, spacious, and huge yard for a dog. Comfortable bed and kitchen was fully equipped to feel like home for the week. Internet was fast (70+ mbps), which made working remotely easy. We’d recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and we’ll definitely come back.

Fruita, CO is truly a hidden gem and a cyclists dream! This property is one of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. The home was spacious, clean, and the hosts were extremely intentional with the design and amenities.

The property was not only beautifully manucured with a view of the mountains, but was also conveiently located minutes from the grocery store and a short drive to the entrance to the Colorado National Monument.

The hosts were extremely responsive and it was clear they wanted us to have a relaxing, carefree vacation. They even had a gift basket for us upon arrival!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! If you are heading to western Colorado, don’t pass this up! And if you aren’t going to western Colorado, you should consider changing your trip to include a visit to Fruita! You won’t regret it.

This place was amazing! Such a cute, really nice living space, and a huge garage that we used to store and work on our bikes! The kitchen was fully stocked with nice appliances and kitchen stuff. Huge tv, 1.5 bathrooms, comfy bed, washer and dryer. The outside area was adorable too, plenty of room for our dog to run around. Honestly it was a space you could live in comfortably! We loved it!

Carriage House recommended by a friend and lived up to hype.Had an issue with ants-dealt with next AM by Maintenance. Loved the TV access to streaming! Possible improvements-list an emergency 24 hour number, and hot tub on patio

Great amenities, location and very clean and comfortable! The kitchen has everything you need, the couch and living area are super comfy for hanging out and the bedroom and bath are spacious and quite comfortable as well. The patio was great for hanging out and getting some sun and having coffee or dinner, and the location was really ideal for us - wanting to be near town but also with some space. Great mountain biking not far from the house and ample garage storage for our bikes/gear. The owners provide a great array of amenities, snacks and thoughtful items like local trail maps. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Top notch! The house and setting couldn't be better. The place is super-sweet and well appointed. Great service from the property manager when called. Snack box was a real bonus too. Will definitely come again.

The home is sparkling clean. The amenities are 1st class. The bikes are such a cool touch and the views are stunning. The excellent design of the cottage makes it seem larger than 800 sq feet. Everything was in great shape. There was even a welcome basket. No close neighbors. Overall loved it and would definitely stay again.

Hi Kristy we enjoyed our stay at the carriage house. The only private suggestion would be to upgrade the towels and linens here-they are barely a medium motel quality and had to do laundry every other day to not run out of washcloths. Some big fluffy shower towels would really make this five star in my book. Everything else was great. Thanks and happy new year!

Don’t look any further for a place to stay! Kristy has made her place a fantastic private getaway! The location is convenient for Fruita and Grand Junction. It has all the amenities you could ever need and a thoughtful gift basket to top it all! We look forward to staying there again!

Great place. Probably the most thoughtful and generous place I’ve stayed out thru Airbnb. The grounds are peaceful and the place is great.

I stayed with my dog for 3 nights and I could not be happier with Kristy's place! The bed and pillows were super comfy. Bathroom was spacious and a pleasure. The water pressure is low but I expect that outside of cities. The kitchen is well kitted out and has plenty of space for probably up to 5-6 people to eat a nice meal together. The TV and couch are HUGE and the place is plenty spacious. Fruit and Grand Junction are close by, too. My dog and I used it as a jumping off point to Moab and Telluride and it was perfect. I'd be back any time I'm in the area!

What a great spot in the world. Our dog was so happy to have space to romp, and we were so happy with the location, outdoor patio, and amenities. It was perfect and we hope to come back!

We stayed in the Carriage House for a month with our pup to work remotely and vacation and we absolutely loved it. The house was SPOTLESS and sparkling clean. The rental was close to town and trails for hiking and riding. We can't give a higher recommendation for Visit Fruita rental. Thank you for a wonderful few weeks on the Western Slope!

Quiet location with nice amenities and open yard space with great views! Tucked away from the busy-ness of the Fruita area, but conveniently close enough to all major attractions and stores. Place was spotless and quiet! Will come again!

The kitchen had everything we needed and we really appreciated the aluminum foil and parchment paper! Appliances were spotless and all worked well. Plenty of storage space throughout the house, including indoor bike storage space. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. The couch and tv are large and there is a fun hangout space outside. We would love to come back here next time we're in Fruita!

Rental was perfect for our visit with our grandkids! They really enjoyed all the run around room they had. Very clean and well stocked. So quiet and close to everything. Thanks for a great time!

My wife, our dog and I had great stay in the Carriage House for 8 days. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed with plenty of room for a dog to run in the large yard. The views are spectacular. Everything works well, and this was an excellent location for us. We were able to get to great dog-friendly hiking in the McInnis Canyons Conservation area a few minutes from the house, visit the Colorado National Monument (of which there are great views from the yard), and drive 90 minutes to Arches National Park just outside of Moab. We highly recommend hiking the 5-mile Flume Trail in McInnis area. Also, do not miss visits to the wineries and fruit stands in Grand Junction and Palisades.

It was great! It's a great location to many national parks. We were able to visit so many places with Fruita being a great central home base.

We spent our afternoons at nearby Mack Lake(Highline S.P.). Perfect spot for our dogs to swim and us to enjoy some ice cold beverages. Been to Fruita a few times now, initially for mountain biking but it is a great spot for much more. Do not hesitate to book The Carriage House, bring the pups and have the best Fruita stay possible."

This place was really great! Super clean, well-kept house that was perfect for a much needed getaway with our pups. Very close to town without being too close. Relaxing porch to watch the sunrise in the morning and watch the sunset in the evenings! Really a beautiful, relaxed place and we had an amazing time. Zero complaints!

We selected this property for a 2-week October stay while we hiked every day around the area. The Carriage House is immaculately clean with contemporary fixtures throughout, is well-furnished and spacious for two people and two dogs, and is wonderfully comfortable. It was a delight to come back to after a long day’s hike, and soak in the late afternoon sun with a beautiful view of Colorado National Monument through the large living room windows or from the patio. And sometimes it hard to leave for our hike in the morning because the house was so peaceful and relaxing, and we could not peel our dogs away from the cozy sun spots they found. The hosts provided a thoughtful welcome basket with tasty and useful goodies. We prepared multiple meals and found all the everyday tools and equipment needed in the well-stocked kitchen, and appreciated the quality outdoor (Weber) natural gas grill. The location is awesome – on the edge of town for the perfect amount of quiet, space, and privacy, yet just few minutes to shops, restaurants, and the grocery store. UPS will also deliver directly to the Carriage House (convenient for our longer stay). We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

The Carriage house is sparkling clean, comfortable, quiet and has all the modern amenities necessary for your stay! The Carriage house has spectacular views which you can enjoy from the patio for morning coffee, evening wine, or even dinner prepared on the gas grill. We stayed in Grand Junction and toured Palisades and feel that Fruita is a little gem-convenient to Monument and the wineries and Grand Junction restaurants ( we highly recommend Bin707 Food Bar).

The house was perfect! It’s larger than picture shows. The lawn was so perfect to lay on with our dogs and read. It truly felt like a home. One of the best parts was that we could store our 4 bikes in the garage along with 2 wetsuits!

We enjoyed our five night stay at the Carriage House. The house is very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities of home, and the beautiful acreage offers a peaceful and relaxing setting for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. Our Irish Setter had a blast running in the yard and playing in the pond. We loved exploring the quaint town of Fruita and the many beautiful sights of the surrounding area. So much to see and do! Best of all, we encountered NO traffic in the Fruita area - a welcome change to what we are accustomed to living in Houston, Texas. Kristy is a gracious host; always just a call away if needed.

The Carriage House worked out great for us. Good location close to downtown Fruita. Very comfortable one bedroom apartment. Fully set up kitchen so we could prepare meals easily. And our dog loved the huge yard to play in! We would highly recommend Carriage House to stay at in Fruita!

During our 4 week Colorado trip, we stayed at 4 VRBO/Airbnb homes and this was our favorite! Firstly, everything was like new and so well equipped! 5 acres of grass and ponds that our dog loved! Very peaceful and quiet with gas BBQ. We got some fantastic meat and vegetables in the Fruita area and cooked out daily! Fruita is famous for many things, but we really loved the Palisade peaches which were in season. The bed was very comfy and it was great to have a 1 1/2 bath. All in all, first class! Nice walking trail on the side of the house, plus the property is fenced in. Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely space!

We took a sister trip to this lovely home and found it to be even better than the ad. It is beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and easily accessible to local attractions. The serenity of the setting was so relaxing. The house is very modern with the amenities. We would only suggest there be more detailed instructions for anything electronic there so that people who are not very technology minded can operate the TV, air conditioning, oven, fans, and DVD player better. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

We loved this property. It was in the perfect location for hiking and mountain biking. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing and fun vacation in the Grand Junction valley. My dog loved the amazing yard and walking paths nearby. It was truly one of the best vacation rentals I have ever stayed in...thanks for making our vacation memorable.

The carriage house was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed spending time on the patio and playing soccer on the grass. The interior was super clean and there were some games available to play with the kids. The owners warned us about the pull out couch, so we brought sleeping pads for the kids and it worked out really well. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots/pans and other paraphernalia, and we cooked most of our meals at the house. Kristy and Mike were great and provided us with some local activities to keep us busy while we were there. We would definitely stay at the Carriage House again!

A lovely place to stay

We spent 3 nights at Mike and Kristy's place. Very peaceful with amazing views. Lots of room to spread out. Very comfortable with all the amenities you would need. If you're a Mt biker their house is just a few miles from some of the best trails in the area. Our dog Luna loved sitting out in the manicured grass enjoying the breeze and checking out the neighboring cows.

We really did love our stay, the home was so perfect. Fruita was quiet, just what we needed, took a great hike in the recommended Devil's Canyon and found a few pumpkin patches while venturing out in the area. Definitely would want to come back again. Our dogs love it too, although we didn't let them loose as they aren't fully trained and our older dog is a bit skittish but they had a good time too. Thank you so much.

We have stayed at this property on multiple occasions. We keep coming back for the following reasons: 1) central location 2) very clean and comfortable 3) allows our dog and she loves the large lawn 4) private and on a spacious lot 5) has everything we need and want (fully equipped kitchen, television for sports) You can't go wrong in renting this place or any of the other properties owned and managed by the Drivers!
