Little Rabbitbrush Hideaway

Very pleased by my stay. First Airbnb rental so didn’t know what to expect. It was a perfect area for all the activities I wanted to do. Everywhere I wanted to go including trailheads and downtown was within 10-20 min. Appreciated the quiet, clean, and comfy space that had everything I needed. Way better than a hotel to me. Nice views of the monument and walked across the street to an amazing trail. Host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful as well. Wish I could have stayed longer and hoping to visit again.

We enjoyed our stay in the tiny house very much! We were able to watch the moon set over the Colorado National Monument each night and were lucky enough to see the lunar eclipse! Such a charming little house in a beautiful location. I highly recommend Little Rabbitbrush!

Beautiful location right across the street from the trail head! Everything was just as described in the listing, with a full fridge and functional microwave. We had everything we needed for an amazing stay.

The location was great, we are hikers and trail runners, with direct access to the Colorado National Monument. Cute little place, comfortable bed, and a great, functional bathroom. We would stay again for sure!

It was everything it promised. Breathtaking view, a comfortable bed, effective cooling system, and just what a person who's not there to cook might need. The k-pod coffee maker works well.
And the fridge keeps everything cold.

We so enjoyed staying at Rabbitbrush Hideaway! A lovely, quiet location, but an easy and quick trip into town. Clean, charming and tranquil! I would gladly stay here again.

Hosts are friendly, responsive, and helpful. The property is adjacent to a popular trailhead, but still feels comfortable and secluded. The Airbnb itself is small, but still comfortable and exactly what a couple would need for a weekend getaway. The bed is comfortable, linens are clean, and the property is quiet and cozy. This tiny homes sits across the street from the Wildwood trailhead that leads into the colorado national monument. I got to wake up every morning to that beautiful view. This place is extremely peaceful and beautiful. The home was similar to a hotel room but a million times more private and less constricting. Very clean and with all the listed amenities. the property managers thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Soaps, shampoo, dish soap, sponges, etc. They also left some snacks and gifts as well as a ton of info on the surrounding area. The owners are next door but very sweet and understanding especially when I had an incident the moment I got there! This was a magical place. Please be aware tho that this house is sort of in a rural area which means nature in all its forms makes its presence known. With that said, the house is very well sealed from critters. Not one sleepless night for me!

Absolutely stunning location, beautifully built studio, perfect stay. I'll try to stay here every time I'm in Grand Junction because of the proximity to trail heads and absolutely gorgeous outdoor adventures. Off the beaten path, mountain views, good amenities.

Had an amazing time! My girlfriend and I loved this place! It was small, but a perfect size for a peaceful getaway with amazing views from bed! Highly recommend for couples looking for a peaceful spot with amazing views and trails very close!

Beautiful location, very clean and quaint, perfect for a single person or a cozy couple! There really isn't any counter space/storage so just keep that in mind; bring your own coffee creamer/sugar. All in all a great stay, convenient to both Fruita and GJ, there are trails across the street, and the views are awesome to wake up to!

Tiny but had everything we needed. Grateful for the electric kettle for hot water. Great views and loved walking from our spot to the Liberty Cap loop hike. Pillows were not great (lumpy and hard) and the heaters are loud (wore ear plugs) but definitely worked well. Hot shower water was excellent too.

Kristy and Mike’s place was perfect for me! I was back in town visiting after moving away a few years ago and it was awesome waking up to the monument every morning and being able to hit my favorite trail right out front. My favorite golf course is two minutes away as well! Loved my time here!

the host were extremely helpful thru text messaging when i had a question. only drawback was no condiments for the coffee, ie sweeteners or creamers. other than that, an excellent place to rest for the next leg of our trip .

had a humming bird try to kiss me, rabbits in the yard, geckos on the back porch, great views of the mountains.

Although I was unable to stay my entire stay due to reasons beyond control the hosts were amazing. They were very understanding and accommodating. The unit was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and the unit was very clean. Wonderful company to rent through.

Really close to hiking trails. Room was very clean and comfortable. Host communication was great!

I chose this location based on two factors.
1-location. Directly across the street is a trailhead to Colorado National Monument, great for sunrise hiking.
2-cost. The stay was slightly less than a budget friendly hotel (excluding cleaning fee) with similar basic items (bed, bath, coffee maker and refrigerator) but was far more private and secure.

Beautiful well kept property! The home was clean, stylish, well furnished and supplied. And, the views and surroundings were amazing. If you’re looking for a cozy place that offers privacy and great views, this is it!

A wonderful place to stay in the Loma/Fruita area. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful mesa view from the backyard. Dog friendly and they thought of everything from dog bowls to use.
Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Horsethief Hideaway! The house had an awesome layout and was very cozy. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time, we really didn't want to leave! Kirsty and Mike were also extremely helpful and proactive and really seemed to care about us having a great experience. We will for sure be booking this home again! 🙂

this place is so cute and located pretty close to some great food spots!! we stayed here as a cheaper alternative to moab to try and visit arches, and the location was pretty helpful! just be careful on the roads there.

Very clean place. Kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you could need. Beds are very comfortable. The towels are great like what you get at a fancy hotel. The outdoor fenced in area was great for our dogs. The garage was also great for keeping our bikes safe.

We stayed here while dropping off our daughter at college. We loved that we were able to have the whole family, to include our fur baby with us. The house was beautiful and clean felt like home away from home.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Horsethief Hideaway! The house was plenty big and extremely comfortable for our party of 4. The dog loved having her own backyard for the weekend too! Plenty of great hiking within a short drive and nearly anything you need can be found in Fruita or Grand Junction.

Perfectly located! Near trail heads, Colorado river and Highline lake. Awesome garage for bike and toy storage.

This home was absolutely lovely! Lots of space for our family of four plus everything you need for your dog! The kitchen is very well supplied for cooking, and the linens and furniture were clean and nice.

Such a cozy, comfortable place. Very clean and had everything we needed. Easy check in and great communication from the owner. I hope it is available the next time we visit Fruita, would definitely book again.

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving in this cute home that was perfect for us. We have family in Fruita and Grand Junction so it was a quick drive to see everyone. The home was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed. Our dog loved the fenced backyard and even though the weather was cool the deck is sunny. We are no strangers to this area but it was or first time hiking all the trails around Highline and Mack Mesa Lake in Highline State Park. We really enjoyed the hiking trails! We were out every morning by 10am before anyone was there and were privileged to encounter a Bald Eagle at close range in a tree before taking off across the lake. Luckily, I had my phone ready. We will be back to this home in the winter when we don't have our camper out yet!

The Horsethief Hideaway was a lovely, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. Close to beautiful trails and interesting Fruita. Kristy was a considerate host, especially because we were stranded with a broken down vehicle and needed to change our plans more than once. The house is really cute and well appointed and our dog especially appreciated the fenced yard.

Very easy check in and out, clean and we enjoyed the location a little outside of town! Easy access to kokopelli trailhead which was so nice, and first time I’ve had cable (Dish) in a long time! We would stay again.

Juniper house was perfect for our family’s multiple week stay in Fruita. The spacious house gave us plenty of space to spread out and the separate office room and good internet connection was perfect for those of us working remotely during our visit. We appreciated that the house was pet friendly (complete with dog bowls and trash can/scooper in the backyard). The extra fridge in the garage was also handy. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. The neighborhood was nice for walking and jogging and close to all the Fuita has to offer. Overall, we had a great stay and would return again!

"This place was easy to find, pristine clean (seriously), and much bigger than expected. It's actually a 3 br but any rooms you didn't book will be locked off. It's managed by a company with several properties and the organization reflects that- it's very professionally done. They provide a lovely welcome basket and local info. great stay!"

Great space, very clean and perfect location! Didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked due to timing and taking a last minute getaway, but enjoyed the seconds we did have! This was perfect for a family of three doing some mountain biking and sun bathing.

This was a great house. Just what we needed when getting away. Kitchen had everything we could have wanted. Checking in was seamless. Great fenced in backyard. There were nearby paths to walk our dog. Easy drive to the wineries. Would highly recommend this house.

This place was wonderful and clean and there were a lot of amenities. We were traveling to our new home from another state and we were looking for a really nice place to stay as we had our whole family including fur babies. This is a place that I would stay again. We have stayed here a couple times now and have more than enjoyed both visits! This beautiful property has everything you need for your stay! We really enjoy the backyard and patio which allows for kids and dogs to run around and burn off some energy! We have no complaints about this property!

This is our 2nd time staying with the Drivers, but our first time at the Juniper house. We couldn't have asked for more. The grill and patio were great for family dinners, as was the dining area and kitchen. What a great home away from home! We will definitely be staying again!

This is our second stay at this property and we would not hesitate to recommend renting this property. Residence is very clean and well maintained, as is the yard. Cleaning and maintenance staff was very courteous and professional. Any concerns or questions we had were promptly addressed. Very quiet neighborhood, convenient to mountain biking, and Grand Junction is very close for any shopping you may need to do.

If you're headed to the Western Slopes, you should definitely rent this home. It has all you could possibly need, and is reasonably priced.

We have stayed at the Juniper House on multiple different occasions as we travel to Fruita to mountain bike, eat pizza and drink beer (at the Hot Tomato). We enjoy this property for the following reasons: - Immaculately clean - Comfortable bed & living space - Full kitchen with everything you need to make meals - Fenced in back-yard and dog friendly - Large two car garage to easily secure bikes - Great bathrooms and water pressure - Close to everything in Fruita and surrounding areas - Gas grill and outdoor seating This property is just a hop, skip and jump away from the center of town (Aspen Street). A quick drive, bike ride or a healthy walk.

Lots lots of room! And what a luxury to have a two car garage available. Kitchen was great. Sunlight poured into the bedroom in the morning and into the kitchen in the evening . It was a little chilly to sit outside but if it was warmer we would have had dinner outside on the patio every night. Living room a great place to watch movies. Very comfy. So much room I set up an office to do work on vacation 🙁 in the front room away from the rest of the house. Shut the door and worked away.

This was a great rental and highly recommended. Nice home, updated, plenty of space for large family, garage for working on bikes, yard for pets, cable TV, close proximity to mountain biking and downtown Fruita. Everything you need, all amenities, for all ages.

As others have noted it is a beautiful house, clean, in a nice neighborhood and it has a fenced yard. It is by far the best VRBO I have rented. The kitchen has lots of dishes and appliances, the double car garage is handy, and the BBQ is wonderful. WiFi, home theater, patio dining, and access to a walking trail round out the long list of amenities. Recommended for: Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway.

We could hardly believe how nice this home is -- and we were allowed to take our small dogs. It is a beautiful and comfortable home, and we would not hesitate to return. We have stayed in many VRBO's, and this is by far the nicest.Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers.
