Sagebrush House II Vacation Rental

We've stayed with Visit Fruita several times, and their properties never disappoint! This one was a unique Victorian house and it was fun to learn about the history of the house and town. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen was especially well supplied with anything you'd need to cook. We'll be back to Fruita!

Charming

Great stay. Everything is very walkable. The garage is a major bonus if you bikes or other gear with you.

The Sagebrush ll was amazing. It was everything that we had wanted and expected! Our favorite part was the location! It was really nice to be able to walk to everything! I definitely recommend the Sagebrush ll to any family wanting to stay in Fruita!

What a great spot! Easy access to downtown, a peaceful backyard to hang out and a fenced in area for the dogs. The hike has everything you could need and lots of space! Super communicative hosts and responsive.

This house is amazing. It has the character of an old house yet the AC, kitchen, and bathrooms have all been updated. The house was extremely clean. The checkin process was simple and communication was great.

Wonderful, old home with character and all the right touches for our family stay during the holidays. A block from downtown Fruita, was an extra bonus. Quick response time to shoveling the snow for my mother, who uses a walker.

We had Thanksgiving with 4 children and their spouse. We brought lots of pot/pans and cooking utensils because we were making all the best Thanksgiving dishes. This home had all of the "stuff" needed (except 6 pie dishes which we made). Management was very responsive and helpful. We would totally do it again. Thank you

We always love staying at Sagebrush. This trip we planned around the availability of this home. It's comfort and size provides a wonderful retreat after a long day of riding. Location is also spot on as you can walk to restaurants, grocery store, etc in usually under 3 blocks. The home is always clean and inviting with clear instructions and attractions laid out in a binder.

This home was exactly what we needed. Fire pit outside, large dining table, awesome kitchen and walking distance to restaurants!

This house was just a lovely combination of traditional style, historic charm and all the modern amenities you could want. Super clean, well stocked, comfortable. The check in and communication process with the renter was excellent. Good location just a block off the main traffic circle and a half mile from the freeway, but with a quiet neighborhood feel.

I would 100% stay there again.

Kristi's house was great for our family and dogs. The neighborhood has lots of walking, biking trails and a great fenced in yard for the kids and dogs. The master suite was so spacious and perfect for an office space during the day.

What a great place to stay while in Fruita! An easy walk to downtown businesses, a great wraparound porch for evening sitting, and a beautiful historic home to spend time in. Kristy and everyone else made everything easy for us, and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Fruita. And the peach pizza from Hot Tomato is just as extraordinary as everyone else says!

This is an amazing house, full of charm and very comfortable. It's location was amazing for us and we had access to many great activities. The house is large, with plenty of charm, yet updated. We loved our stay!

We totally enjoyed our stay! Everything was amazing from the easy access/check-in to the clean and spacious space. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Great outdoor spaces too! The wrap around porch, patio with gas fire pit and big yard were all a hit. Our poodles did nicely as well.

Great location! Close to Palisade peaches and wineries. Enjoyed being close to Monument Park. Close to airport as well! Highly recommend!

"This was the perfect house for the week to regroup between weekend adventures. The large garage was great for unloading camping gear, storing our raft, and keeping our bikes secure. The washer and dryer was also key for us, as was the fast internet for video conference calls during the week. The house was clean and very spacious for the two of us and my small pup. I'd imagine if you were renting the whole house you might find the kitchen to be a little small with a large group, but it was more than enough for us. Tacia was an amazing host, helping us find somewhere to store our raft prior to our stay, leaving a welcome kit with snacks and drinks, sending over a hair dryer when the one there stopped working, and helping us extend our stay by a night."

Had a great time in this old historic house. Lots of toasty warm space including a beautiful upgraded kitchen. We had puzzles going the whole time on the huge dining table. Very homey - lots of fun!! Will return.

We've traveled quite a bit and this property ranks in the top three. Home is incredibly charming with original character; but has been remodeled beautifully. You get the best of both worlds! We had an early Thanksgiving dinner with my family and had everything we could possibly need for cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. Beds were so comfortable and had top notch linens. Clean as could be and even the abundant windows were spotless inside and out. The gift basket that greeted us was just icing on the cake. Would not hesitate to recommend this property to the pickiest of travelers.

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Fruita. We only needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and it was perfect. We arrived late and had no problems finding the house or getting settled. We had a lovely stay.

The house quality was very nice inside and was perfect for our family. The proximity to the downtown area was very convenient as well.

We had such a great time! The home was very clean upon our arrival, and Kristy was a great host! We were right in the middle of town, so everything was just a hop skip and jump away We would definitely stay again!

We were very lucky to find this amazing house. First - the house is immaculate, cleanest we have ever stayed in. You can tell the owners care about the details. The house is huge with tons of room. The deck area was awesome to enjoy the warm sun. The kitchen was such a delight to cook in. We met friends in Fruita and it was just 2 blocks to Hot Tomato for pizza and drinks at the Copper Club - just a short walk home. There are 2 great bikes in the garage that we tried out around town.... such fun! We will be back in the spring to spend some more time and would recommend this house to anyone looking for convenience of downtown.

Place could not be closer to downtown Fruita! Local coffee joint and great little brew pub just a block away, as well as Camilla's for breakfast:) House is great and nicely taken care of - pretty much everything you need. Plus two car garage to stash and organize all your gear. Will definitely stay here again!

The home is immaculate, spacey, and full of character. It had everything you could need. Beds were very comfy, as well as the living space. Kitchen is upscale and fully stocked! Large yard with lots of seating areas.The owners were so gracious and welcoming! We want to come back next time we visit Fruita!

We loved, loved, loved this place. We were in town for a family gathering and this lovely place made our stay pleasant. It was so peaceful and private and so much better than staying in a motel for three nights. We enjoyed having our own outdoor space for a breakfast spot or an evening wind down. The house offers enough room to spread out a little and a well stocked kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Brand new mattresses and bedding was a total luxury! Thank you to our hosts for making your place available to us.

Probably the best vacation rental we've enjoyed using the VRBO website for 6 years. This home is clean, well furnished, and ideally located in Fruita Colorado. Close to shopping, a variety of restaurants, parks and the mountain biking. The owners were a joy to work with regarding the rental.

This home is a beautiful restoration of a lovely home with modern amenities. From a great chef's kitchen to beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms, this home is thoughtfully designed for comfortable living. We were sad to not be staying longer. It will be a pleasure to book again when we are back in the area. Thanks for making this home so very enjoyable !!

Very big house, beautifully decorated, great kitchen with all new appliances, and a brand new gas grill - I think we were the first to use it. The beds are so comfortable we didn't want to get up. Loved our stay, would recommend to anyone.

Perfect location, beautiful and so very comfortable. I will try and stay here again next year! If we needed something in the house, we found it. The front porch was so comfortable, we had breakfast out there.

A+ super clean historic rental!

The Sagebrush house was perfect for our stay -- a mix of a work staff retreat and some mountain biking in Fruita thrown in. Home is beautifully decorated and bedrooms, living areas and kitchen are all spacious. The large dining room easily accommodated our 9 staffers for our work discussions by day, and the patio and wraparound porch were relaxing for unwinding with early evening drinks and snacks. You can walk to everything you need in downtown Fruita -- City Market for groceries; Camilla's Kaffe for breakfast burritos; Colorado Backcountry Biker or Over the Edge Sports for bike rentals; Copper Club Brewing Co. for a great selection of locally made craft beer; and The Hot Tomato for some of the best pizza you'll find this side of NYC. The 3-car garage has more than enough space to store a dozen-plus bikes. If our group ever comes to Fruita again, I'm sure a few of us will take advantage of the securely fenced pet yard as well. The perfect spot for our large group .... The place was clean and well stocked for a fun weekend.

We were in Fruita for a weekend of mountain biking. This house was awesome! It has a lot of character and yet it has been updated so that all of the modern conveniences are present. It has a lot of space to stretch out and a very comfortable feel. We were able to store our bikes in the garage which was a nice change since we usually have a difficult time traveling with bikes. It is close to restaurants and shops and we enjoyed walking to dinner instead of driving. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect for our Fruita weekend. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. It really is as beautiful as it looks!

We had a lovely time staying at the home. The bedrooms are well furnished and super comfortable. I highly recommend for a group. The house couldn't be more conveniently located, within walking distance of downtown and the grocery store.

We had a wonderful stay in Fruita. There was great weather this time of year and lots of trails without the crowds. We liked being so close to the town. This house could not have worked out better for my husband and me. We visited family who live in fruita, so it was a perfect place for us to get to visit with them and still have our own space. The house is tastefully decorated and is well stocked. I would definitely recommend this house and hope we get an opportunity to visit and stay again!
