Velo House III Vacation Rental

This is the third year we've stayed at this house, and it's been exactly what we needed including location that is close to everything, exactly what the photos show, fenced in back yard with grass for our dog, responsive hosts, plenty of space and excellent amenities.

Enjoyed the homey, cozy feel of the house. Kristy and Mike were very responsive.

The house was great, I enjoy staying at Kristy and Mikes properties they’re always nice clean homes and very well maintained… would recommend to everyone… Thanks for allowing me to stay again

What a wonderful house! Communication was excellent! There was space for all three couples, the beds and showers were very comfortable and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Thanks too for the washer and dryer 😉

Highly recommend this vacation rental. It was so clean which is my biggest concern when renting a place. They were super easy to get ahold of and made you feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

The house was quite roomy and nicely decorated, with plenty of comfy furniture. We only used the king-sized bed, which was very comfortable. Everything was very clean, which is important to us. We appreciated the nice gift basket and that the house was supplied with paper products. The home is in a convenient location for visiting Colorado National Monument, and for day trips to the national parks in Moab. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Everything was wonderful!

Kristy& Mike's place was warm, inviting, beautiful and relaxing. If you decide to add bubbles to your jacuzzi experience, use caution on the amount.

We had such a lovely and comfortable stay at this beautiful house! Very convenient location, and very thoughtful about doggie needs, with the bowls there, and blankets and treats!
The beds were very comfortable, something I worry about when staying for a week anywhere. And the bedding was also just perfect. An easy to understand heating and AC system was really great, as well. The grounds are very well kept and attractive, quiet neighborhood a big plus. Fruita is such a sweet town. The lay out of the living space was just perfect, with many comfortable places to sit, indoors and out. Loved the big and beautiful dining table! Super spacious, with very comfortable chairs.
The furnishings are really attractive and we loved the bicycle theme throughout the home.
I’m sure we’ll be back and we highly recommend!

Great stay, everything was clean. Backyard was nice as well.

Loved the house. Great location. Very clean. Very responsive to questions. Allowed us to check in an hour early since we were driving across country.

We really only had 2 issues:
Our only issue was 2 of the 4 tvs didn’t work. Someone tried to come fix but unfortunately didn’t get fixed. We just lived without..was told we could get a new one on Tuesday, but we left on Tuesday.
Also, there are VERY strict rules with the house, which made me paranoid. No guests can come over the occupancy for the house (8 people). And quiet hours starts at 9pm, so I didn’t feel we could sit outside at night. No cars on the street.

The Vello house was located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean and the layout is nice to have people over. It is well equipped and looks just like the pictures. Kristy is an amazing host. Her communication was quick and helpful.

Great central location for visiting western CO and eastern UT. House was clean and comfortable.

This is a *very* clean and *very* comfortable rental. We found everything to be in excellent shape. Communication regarding check in/out was clear and straightforward - we arrived late at night and had an early departure so the clear instruction were much appreciated. The check out requirements are very minimal. We’ve stayed in other home rentals that had a rather lengthy checklist of things to do prior to checking out, but Kristy and Mike made that process easy. Our teens also loved the house (and the gift basket). Kristy and Mike - Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Perfect place for family and pooches. Clean and spacious. Even a garage for cars! Very professionally managed. Welcome basket was a nice touch. Neighbors were friendly.

We loved the location of this property (you can ride a bike to BESTSLOPE Coffee) This property is very convenient to downtown Fruita, Grand Junction, and Palisade. Wished we could have stayed longer! There is so much to do and see!❤️

Everything was neat, clean, uncluttered and served our stay perfectly. We had short drives to any of our activities. Just lovely!

This was our first VRBO stay. The house was just as advertised. Easy check in and check out. Very neat and clean and well appointed. Comfortable inside and outside living spaces. Great neighborhood. Would liked to have stayed longer and certainly hope to return next year.

We just spent a week here and had a wonderful time. The home accommodated three couples comfortably and was close to all the trails that the younger ones wanted to ride or hike while being very comfortable for grandparents doting on their grandchild. Have fun, be safe and comfortable!

Very clean property exactly as advertised.

Highly recommend; property met or exceeded expectations. Located on a quiet street except for one neighbor's barking dog. Check in/check out was seamless; no need to contact owner. Very nice welcome basket for humans and pets. Will definitely book again, especially if daughter decided to attend CMU.

This is the second time staying in Fruita with the same owners and the houses are just as advertised. The properties are super clean (which is a worry in this day and age with COVID) with great kitchen, dining and living areas. Always enough room for all guests to entertain and sleep. Would highly recommend.

As a professional working couple, currently working remote, high speed internet was necessary. The Velo I house has ample internet speed and space for two people. House was super clean, easy access to Colorado National Monument. We enjoyed late afternoon hikes in Grand Valley!! It was perfect for us!!!

Thank you for allowing us to stay!! From the very beginning the whole process was very easy! Came down for my daughters graduation. The house was spectacular very clean and felt very welcome. Was skeptical with the whole Covid situation but the house looked well sanitized. Next year will definitely come again for a vacation and check out the other house rentals from Kristy and Mike .

This was a fantastic house for our family. It was very clean, it was roomy, we could bring our dog. It was a great location for our vacation activities we planned ... and only a couple minutes from downtown Fruita. It was so great being able to cook and have family meals together, sit around the fire pit at night and talk, and enjoy the backyard and the patio set-where we ate most of our meals. The check-in and check-out process was easy and hassle-free. We had an amazing trip and created memories we'll never forget. Hope to be back again someday! Thank you!

Place was amazing. New and clean. Was swinging through on a road trip but would stay no where else in the area.

We loved staying at this home. It had everything we needed and was a great location for visiting the National Monument, Grand Junction and the Grand Mesa. Highly recommend!

Easy to rent, directions were easy to find and follow. Well kept home in a small nice neighborhood worked perfect for a weekend of drinking wine in palisades!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Velo III house. The location is convenient and the home is roomy and well-equipped. It was wonderful to have a garage to park in and to keep our bikes in, and we were happy to be able to bring our dogs with us. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for the entire month of August 2019. Property was excellent in all aspects. From the first communication prior to booking, it was very evident that the owners were very thoughtful and caring. Prior to check in, we were provided will everything we could need. The house is well laid out and very well taken care of, to include weekly landscaping. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay for a month. Pots and pans were upscale and of good quality. Plenty of dishes to serve many people. Linens and towels were upscale. Dish washer and washer and dryer worked wonderfully. Owners were very quick to respond to an issue we had. All I can say is that it was a wonderful experience, house exceeded expectations, and the owners were excellent to work with. Hopefully, I can visit again next summer.

This our second time staying at one of these owners’ properties and both experiences have been great! The Velo house was clean and well stocked. The owners provided a welcome basket with many useful items and local area info. The layout of the house was great for us and our two kids. We would stay here again next time we are in town visiting our family!

We rented two houses for a family reunion. This house was dubbed the quiet house. It was a perfect chill house with ample space for folks to relax on the back patio or the front patio, in the family room, in the dining room, or in a bedroom. The master bedroom and bathroom are so big they feel like a sanctuary away from the rest of the crowd.

We rented Velo for the month of April, 2019. The home is very comfortable. The neighborhood is pleasant. The home was clean. A lot of attention was put into this home, it is well done. Management was friendly and attentive. We would definitely rent this home again.

If you have ever stayed in a VRBO before and more importantly, if you own a VRBO yourself... you can appreciate and/or need to understand how important the whole entire process from the very start to end actually is!!....
It starts the moment you book a VRBO, to entering the unit (which was a breeze), to the simplicity & ease of use of everything, the cleanliness, the comfort of a good night sleep in 5 star beds & quality linen, the warm welcoming feeling of coming home to a "home" every evening, the ease & access of cookware, garage door openers, satellite TV, towels & toiletries, extra bedding & pillows, etc... Even the welcome basket was special! (I'm sure I've left out tons of details but...) All this made this specific VRBO a No-Brainer and a very very comfortable stay from start to finish and everything in-between was wonderful!
By personal choice, we never even said boo to the owners yet they were so complete in their welcome email, their presentation/instructions, and details that we felt like they were holding our hand all the way in. We could tell if we needed anything (which we didn't) they'd help right away.
I predict places like Kristy & Mike's will be putting the local hotels out of business very soon because coming from a huge VRBO traveler; ... Kristy & Mike "Get It"
