Great Stay!

This was a great stay in a beautifully updated/renovated home in the heart of Fruita!
Downtown Fruita is a short walk away and we loved being able to walk and get coffee in the morning. The backyard is also immaculate and we loved hanging out with our dog on the patio in the evening. The kitchen was also fully stocked!

Everything was wonderful and the yard was exceptional for our dog. The bikes were a huge plus as well!

Absolutely great place. Comfortable, clean and spacious. And the huge backyard with fire pit was really appreciated by my pups and myself. Easy walk to downtown Fruita. Bed was comfortable (0nly used one bedroom), as was the couch. Very well stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was the difficulty in getting my dates changed.. This was made more difficult by both Airbnb app and policies, as well as poor support from the property management company. This place is managed by a third party.

Wonderful stay!

This is a lovely and updated old home. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to make a couple of really nice dinners. The house was big and the fully fenced yard was absolutely huge. Our dogs loved it. Close to lots hiking biking trails. It was worth the drive to hike Grand Mesa at high altitude. We appreciated the excellent price and the friendly welcome basket.

Historic house that is updated and well renovated. Close to downtown Fruita, great parking, quiet with a big backyard and bike shed.

Kristy & Mike think of every detail possible! We are repeat visitors to this property and feel so welcome and at "home". Beautifully decorated, comfortable bedding, and huge yard!

A great house with lots of character along with a modern style including everything you need. It was a cold week while I was there and the house was nice and warm. Great fully fenced backyard if you bring your 4 legged friends. Impeccably clean. Great hosts, answered any questions right away. 5/5.

We really enjoyed this property as it was about 20 min drive to the trails and 5 min walk to downtown and 5m drive from the i70 junction. House felt enormous at first once we discovered there were 2 extra bedrooms that are rentable. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking which we loved as well as the fenced in backyard complete with grass, a grill, dining table and fire pit. Would stay here again despite the cleaning fee being quite high.

Kristy and Mike’s place is fantastic! It was just two of us staying there, but there was definitely room for more (if you rent the other bedrooms). We were very comfortable and it is very well maintained. It has everything we needed and more. We will definitely come back!

The Atchee House is a thoughtfully restored home with a nice mix of modern and traditional touches. Every detail has been attended to for guests.

The king bed is extremely comfortable in the attic room and the expansive backyard is peaceful. It is close to the downtown area and easy to find. The host was great with recommendations when asked, and communicated well throughout the stay. I just wish I had brought my dog. She would have loved it too! Thank you for having me!

Great Airbnb. Large kitchen and lounge space with room to work remote. Huge fenced yard and nice fire pit and BBQ grill. Very clean and comfortable. A couple blocks to walk to town. Will be staying here again!

This is my second time staying in a Visit Fruita property and it was a wonderful experience! The home was immaculate, super cozy, spacious, and overall it just felt like home. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our dogs. The home contained all of the necessary amenities, and the master bed was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect and I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. They also leave you with a very thoughtful gift basket that most hosts don't even think of. I would highly recommend that if you are staying in Fruita, check out a Visit Fruita property!

Fantastic Airbnb.

Location: 5 min walk to downtown Fruita, 15 min drive to monument national park and nearest hiking/biking trailheads.

Communication: very quick and helpful responses!

Amenities: hotel-like linens, fully appointed kitchen, care basket for you and pup, two beach cruiser bikes, TV's in living room and each bedroom, HVAC control in each room. Hand soap, moisturizer provided, BYO shampoo, bodywash etc. Tons of towels.

House: Newly renovated, clean, in short - everything was in excellent condition. Layout was conducive to hanging out and backyard was very large - perfect to hang out in/for the pups to have plenty of room to run around. Also plenty of different spaces to work, relax etc without getting in the way of one-another. Be aware: Master bedroom doesn't have a door. Driveway has parking for multiple cars.

Overall: Highly recommend, would return. Had a very comfortable stay!

What a wonderful place to stay!

The neighborhood is super quiet. Things like gas and groceries are very close by. The attention to detail is second to none! The Home is immaculately maintained and furnished to make any stay a perfect one! Just relaxing in the backyard takes the day’s stress away. My one question I had was immediately answered by Kristy. Two Thumbs Up here!!

We loved this rental property. It was just like being home away from home. The bedrooms, kitchen, backyard and front porche were all you could ask for for our stay. Plenty of trail around Fruita to walk with my dog that appreciate the large backyard. Easy check in and out. Close to Palisade where we spent time at the Peach Festival, farmer market, and wine tasting at a couple of wineries. Definitely will book again!

A beautiful and clean space close to everything, what more could you ask for! Our dog loved the big backyard and we enjoyed grilling back there as well. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

Place was clean and nicely updated. King bed is very soft which we loved.
kitchen is a bit sparse but we had everythingg we needed as we didn't cook much. Backyard is amazing and huge. next time we will bri g the dog and kids.

This place is among the nicest we've stayed at. The space was spotless, communication was great, the location was perfect for us, the gear shed was handy, the beds were comfy, etc., etc., etc. Small details (a welcome basket, dog bowls, laundry detergent, TVs in each bedroom, ...) made things even better. This place was a perfect base for exploring the area!

This home was comfortable and functional. Three people can comfortably work in the kitchen at the same time. The home was comfortable for five of us. It has been nicely updated and well appointed. I was a bit concerned about my pet allergies since pets are allowed, but it was sparkling clean with no trace of past pets staying there. It’s conveniently located to beautiful natural areas for biking and hiking.

Really enjoyed the house, location, and yard. Perfect for our stay!

Home away from home!

Kristy's house was perfect for our stay in Fruita. The place is super clean and well appointed. We loved the thought that has gone into a quality renovation of a very cute house with a fantastic back yard. Kristy was great to work with. We will definitely hope to stay here again on our next trip to hike and bike in Fruita!

AMAZING place to stay! Beautiful large, fenced in back yard for the pup, a locked shed to store our bikes and a very clean, homey feeling space to hang out. Welcome basket included and water/food bowls provided for the dog! Super clean, right by downtown Fruita and not far from our favorite bike trails! We will be back!

This house was perfect. I was tempted to extend our stay into the week as I really didn’t want to leave. The house is beautiful, very clean and decorated nicely. The backyard was perfect for our pup who loved running around all day. The king bed was comfortable and the enclosed front porch was great for drinking coffee once it warmed up. We will definitely be back to stay here as soon as we can!

We enjoyed our stay and it was a nice quiet getaway for the two of us and our pup!

Kristy's place was great and VERY clean! It is clear that the house was meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival. Kristy also left a thoughtful basket of goodies for our stay! The house was equipped with everything you'll need for your stay from a fully stocked kitchen to all the bathroom necessities. Also, the backyard is great and very private. I'd highly recommended Kristy's place for your stay in Fruita!

Kristy's place is so well done! All the amenities needed are there. Great backyard with firepit, grill, seating area, etc. Comfy beds and furniture. A short two block walk to downtown was perfect.

We had an amazing time at Kristy's place. The house looks recently remodeled - the beds, kitchen, bathroom and everything else was very clean and high quality. Our dog loved it too and we loved eating dinner in the backyard each night. Some of us worked remotely from the house while others explored Colorado National Monument and it was a great location for both. We'll definitely be back.

Great house, super clean, comfortable and quiet.

This property was in a great neighborhood within walking distance to downtown. Loved the welcome basket when we checked in-very nice touch, as that meant we didn’t need to go to the grocery until the next day. The backyard was ideal for our pups. There were also dog blankets, and dog bowls provided. The property was very clean. We only rented one bedroom, but this would also be ideal for a larger group, as there were two more bedrooms available that were closed off during our visit. Oh, and the king bed upstairs was so comfy. LOVED this place. Can’t wait to return.

I chose this property because of its size and relation to palisade and Moab. What a great home! I loved the kitchen/family room and backyard a lot. We brought our puppers and grilled at home one night. The wildfires and smoke was bad and made it hard to enjoy the surrounding areas, but we made the best of it and enjoyed the stay! We visited Colterris vineyard/winery as well as the local Grand Valley produce stands. One day we drove to Arches National Park and Canyonlands in Utah! Only an hour and half from the Airbnb. Highly recommend, will stay again.

This is the 2nd house we've rented from Mike and Karen. We have family that lives in Fruita so we come often. The house looked small but was large enough for us. Great location within walking distance of downtown Fruita.

This house is perfectly situated and appointed. There was no detail left unattended from the welcome basket, to the beautiful (and comfortable) design. So clean and fresh!! I was smitten with Fruita also. It's an adorable town with super friendly people. We had a busy week with hiking, national parks visits, lazy river tubing, and lots of wine tasting.
I would definitely come back as all of that is at the doorstep of this sweet accommodation.

Kristy's place is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It was a nice getaway from the city and nearly 30 minutes away from palisade.The whole place made us feel at ease and the hone was cozy. I would definitely come again!
