Perfect place to stay for us!

Great cabin for a family weekend getaway, very serene and peaceful, beautiful back patio with fire pits, kids loved it

We had a fantastic time, the house/cabin was great. We mainly did day trips (Moab, Arches Natl Park) but it was nice to come back to a nice, comfortable and very new cabin. Inside, modern/new appliances, comfortable beds and plenty of space. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the back patio in the evening with the gas fire feature setting the mood. Great sunsets. We cooked in on some meals and we also found some good restaurants in Fruita, as well as a nice supermarket. We had a great time and I can definitely recommend this place.

I can't say enough about how fantastic the home, yard, communication and so much more. I have so many great memories and pics that my whole family will enjoy for years to come. My grandkids loved the large grassy backyard. We enjoyed swinging on the wooden gliders for a lack of a better word. I didn't want to leave. Thank you Kristy and Mike for everything!!!

We had a lovely time at the Rustic Retreat. They thought of everything. Family friendly w lots of land for the kiddos to run and play. The house itself looks new and decorated so nicely. I would definitely stay again if i was in the area. Thank you!

Rustic Retreat exceeded my expectations. It was exceptionally clean and the property and surroundings beautiful. The back deck has a stunning view and is the perfect spot to sit, unwind, and enjoy the sunset! I will mention that the back deck has upgraded patio furniture vs what is posted in the listing, and a very nice horseshoe pit was installed in the backyard during my stay. All in all, a lovely, peaceful stay. The host was very responsive and accommodating and I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely retreat!

This is a beautiful property! It is very clean and the space was perfect for our family of six. The space is perfect for family events. The outside space is extremely comfortable especially in the morning and evening. The pool table and stocked games were a huge hit. The house was decorated very tastefully and flower throughout the entire location. If it is available we will stay there again.

At first we were a little worried about the unit, our gps took us to someones backyard. The area was a little remote, however upon arriving at the Rusti Retreat, it was transformed. Awesome home in its own enviornment. Family really loved it.

Traveling with a family of 9 can be difficult. But our experience at the Rustic Retreat was the cornerstone of one of our best family trips ever.
Upon arrival, the door code we had been sent did not work. We sent a text message to our hosts, and the matter was resolved within minutes. (It was a software glitch on their end, and they rapidly responded and helped us get into the property.)
The property was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed every minute we spent there.
The location was a bit further west than we realized, about 10 minutes past Fruita, but this did not detract from our experience.
Highly recommended for any large parties visiting the Grand Valley.

This lovely peaceful cabin met all our needs it was. We hiked the near by Hawkeye trail, swam in the Colorado river area Loma, and drove through Canyonlands National Park to Moab which is less than 1:30 hours away. It was a great stay.

My wife and I enjoyed this cabin and super excited that it was pet friendly as it fits our needs.
We enjoyed having bond fires, playing pool upstairs, cooking inside AND out!!
Beautiful cabin, large but feels like home at the same time right as you walk in.
Hosts are really quick to respond with whatever questions you may have.
Cabin is really private and far from the busy city life that we know, watching the stars in the midnight sky unpolluted by city lights.
As a Police Officer from a big city, I recommend this cabin to anyone that may be searching for a secluded cabin in order to relax and unwind.

Every detail was perfect in this house! Such attention to detail. Clean, organized, and beautiful. It truly stands out as unique in the neighborhood. It's exactly what you expect from a log cabin Airbnb.

Great place for a Christmas vacation! All amenities were available as listed. The place was quiet and clean. Loved having the space and privacy for our family (4 adults, 4 kids and 1 dog). Would recommend to anyone in the Mack CO area.

Well appointed and impeccably clean and comfortable.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. It is very cute and cozy, views were beautiful and the place was clean. There was a lot of flies (however that is to be expected in remote areas). It is a bit isolated and ~10 minutes drive from Fruita (in case you were looking for something close to town) but that was fine for us. We enjoyed the quiet and the mountain views. Kristy and Mike have a property manager which was very responsive to any of our questions. I would recommend this stay for your next adventure near Fruita/Grand Junction or Moab.

This was our first Airbnb rental and it was well worth it, especially for a family of eleven that included six grandchildren! Has all the modern amenities yet has the rustic cabin look and feel, beautiful home! We enjoyed the sweeping views of the east end of the Grand Valley that can be seen from the back covered patio that includes seating, a fire pit and grill. The home is beyond beautiful- and cozy - super clean and the views from backyard incredible- the pictures don’t do it justice - even got a beautiful welcoming gift and lots of resources for information in the surrounding areas - the host is very responsive and helpful with absolutely anything - don’t look any further - this is definitely your place to stay in Mack, CO

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the cabin. The pool table was a favorite. It looked exactly as the pictures showed. The view from the patio is absolutely beautiful! A great place to stay to enjoy Western Colorado. The owners were quick to respond to our communication. Would be happy to return here in the future.

Gina and I had a great time at the rustic retreat. The scenery was beautiful with so many outdoor adventures available. The house had everything provided including grill and pool table. I would definitely come back for another visit.

This is probably one of the best places I have stayed at. House was immaculate and very spacious. The pictures don't do it justice. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra bedding was provided. Adults can definitely sleep comfortably on the bottom Queen bunks. We utilized the gas grill on the back patio while experiencing breathtaking views of the Mountains and sunsets. The inside appliances were top notch quality and well stocked with pots, pans, mixers, etc. The seating in the dining room and kitchen was perfect for our party of 9. The house has a wonderful log cabin feel and seems brand new. Loved the decor and simplicity of everything down to the details and small touches. The pool table and kid toys were a nice touch for our kids. I cannot recommend this place enough!! 6 stars

Gorgeous property inside & out!! The back patio is so nice and the sunset view is wonderful.

We had a great stay. The cabin was virtually brand new, and Kristy and Mike were very responsive. The cabin was super clean and cozy, and a great place to relax after riding. We dirt-biked the BLM land north of the Highline State Park and Rabbit Valley, both stellar riding! Will come back again.
